Nails and Knives
AC and Sam have been doing physics projects and experiments at night. This evening they learned about incline planes and wedges. AC had Sam hammer three different nails: one standard, one blunt, and one chiseled. The idea was to see which one took the most work to drive in and pull out. As expected, the blunt nail came out easily. The chiseled nail was by far the easiest to drive in and the hardest to pull out. AC was quite pleased with the effectiveness of his chiseled nail; I wouldn’t be surprised if he started grinding the tips of all of his nails now 🙂

As I write this, they’ve moved onto soldering. Uh oh.
