24 August 2014 Cemetery Garden Late Summer Update

I’ve neglected the garden horribly this year and it looks a tangled mess, but it is still pumping out tomatoes at an unbelievable rate. Peppers, collards and basil still abound. The cucumbers succumbed to bacterial wilt, probably from an infestation of cucumber beetles 🙁 Only one edamame plant sprouted and Sam declares we will be eating the pods in a few days.

And just this week, the sunflowers bloomed.
