1 December 2013 O-Gauge Train Set

Christmas came early at our house. Today AC pulled his grandfather’s O-gauge train set out of the attic and set up a loop to go around the Christmas tree. Sam is enchanted with the set-up, particularly the people and buildings of “Plasticville.” But she does also love operating the trains and making the engine toot its horn. I was amused to see that she set up a whole bunch of workmen and bystanders along the track. All those plastic people got blown over by the force of the O-gauge engine pulling the cars along. Maybe it was the smoke that got them. Yes, there’s smoke! Liquid smoke. Our living room is going to smell like a train yard for a while.
