21 November 2013 The Cast & Crew of Perseus and Medusa

Story of the World Club made crafts for an unrehearsed and quite fun performance of the myth of Perseus and Medusa. There were so many parts to play that some of the kids had multiple roles. I even got drafted to play Andromeda, chained to a rock. Sam had three parts: one of the Grey sisters, a guest at Polydectes wedding feast, and Pegasus–who is born when Perseus slays Medusa. Sam’s interpretation of Pegasus was quite unusual–more chicken than winged horse. I asked her about that later and she said, “I was trying to make it funny!”
