Captain of the Orange team, Sam first picks her father. Good choice. He’s fast and skilled. Plus he’s her father. But she’ll pick her old lady second, right?

Nope. Not third or fourth either. Alas, she knows MY level of soccer skill all too well. I eventually donned a white jersey when someone else’s kid picked me. I was kinda bummed and kinda proud at the same time.
