5 October 2013 Sack Races!

We did manage some old-fashioned fun at Sam’s birthday party today, despite temperatures in the high 80s. Sack races were a big hit. So was tug of war, until the casualties (mostly elbows in faces, I think) grew too high for parental comfort (I think the kids would have kept going). Best thing of all for Sam: she got to run around with her friends and get really dirty. Isn’t that the measure of any good party? 😉
