8 September 2013 Jalapeno!

Our jalapeno plants are finally producing! I had given up on these plants up a few weeks ago but couldn’t bear to take them out of the garden while they were still healthy looking. They had a rough, leggy beginning grown from seed indoors with insufficient light and then we transplanted them into the garden just before we left for France. But they must be liking this late hot September weather because all of the plants have fruit on them now.

I still think it’s a miracle that you can plant a seed and a few months later have food.
