Sam likes to eat history. Between reading about the Jewish diaspora in The Story of the World and Rosh Hashanah this week, it seemed like a good time to bake challah bread. The braiding was trickier than I thought it would be and the proportions in the recipe (from one of Sam’s library books, naturally) were waaay off. Still–you know–warm, homemade bread! We’ve eaten half of it already.
