16 June 2013 Yellow Band

At our neighborhood pool, kids are banded according to height. Below 48 inches is blue. Above 48 inches is yellow. Sam is SO close to 48 inches tall but so far this summer it’s been one blue band after another. Until today when the lifeguard brought out the measuring stick and decided that Sam was at 48. Yellow band! Sam will never take it off. Really.
