Maple Tree Nursery

On Friday I was weeding the garden and pulling out maple tree seedlings left and right when Sam and Susie decided to rescue them and start their own nursery. They enlisted the help of the boys, used every container they could find and repotted the seedlings. Today they continued their work, rescuing a volunteer melon I was going to discard and building a stone wall around one of the maple seedlings they planted in our front yard. Later today my next-door neighbor asked, “I noticed all the pots in your front yard, and what looked like a fire pit, and I wondered if you were doing some landscaping…?” Me, no I leave the landscaping to my daughter and her friends.

Even later in the day I found a moss pit they constructed next to one of the bushes. What will be next?
