6 February 2013 Hermione Granger Hard at Work

This is the thing about having a homeschooled kid who is completely crazy about Harry Potter. You come home from a full afternoon (piano lesson, park, library, gymnastics, errands) and she announces that 1) her name is Hermione Granger, and 2) she has an essay to write, and then asks 3) where is my cape? You find her cape (merci, Peggy!) and the kid gets to work writing about the Byzantine emperor Justinian.

I’m just lucky she didn’t demand parchment and quills, I guess.
