26 January 2013 Cardboard TV
We haven’t owned a TV in about 6 years. Haven’t missed it much either, although we do watch some films and programs via video-on-demand or DVD. About once a week AC will drag his huge computer monitor up from the office so we can enjoy a big screen. That was getting old. The original plan was to install a projector and project content onto our white “screen wall,” but the projector project was going to be costly and require us to remove our ceiling fan. So instead, we’re planning on hanging a flatscreen tv. We don’t plan to subscribe to cable television, but will simply hook the flatscreen up to a Roku device and/or computer.
So anyway, the cardboard TV. AC fashioned this so we could make sure the TV we want to purchase will fit in the space. Phase one of the project is complete!
