13 September 2012 Roald Dahl Day

Sam and one of her friends attended a Roald Dahl event at the library today to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the publication of The BFG. The girls loved the crafts and the activities but were as perplexed as I was that the first thing they received when they walked into the activity room was… candy. Really? At the public library? What about pencils? Or stickers, or hey… books?
