We’ve moved seven times in the past ten years. There have been plenty of opportunities to purge belongings, especially books. And yet still I find books I’m holding onto for sentimental reasons. Like this copy of Anne Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles, given to me by a student at Penn State Altoona (I think). I’ve held onto the book, but my memory of the student is hazy.
