12 November 2011 Saunders-Monticello Trail

I’ve been sick for the past few days but today the gorgeous weather and my cabin fever propelled me out of doors. We unpacked our letter-boxing kit from California days and went in search of three letter-boxes along the nearby Saunders-Monticello Trail. It had been a good two years since we’d done any letter-boxing at all. (While England is the origin of this treasure hunt pastime, it doesn’t seem to have caught on there outside the originating county of Dartmoor). It was just as fun as we remembered and lucky for us we found all three boxes.
