15 September 2011 Sigh

I guess we might not be leaving town tomorrow after all (to bicycle the New River Trail in southern Virginia). Our brand new car battery died out of the blue this afternoon, in exactly the same way as the previous battery died. Out of the blue. And like last time, we failed at getting it to jump start. Thankfully, though, we were not far from home, and like last time we had friends who helped us (thanks!)

Still, two dead batteries within three weeks? Grumble.
