Salad

I know, I know, I keep harping on the “good yum lettuce” in our garden. But that’s because I’ve never grown lettuce before and I’m amazed at how easy it was and how tasty it is. Tonight’s salad was enhanced by some outstanding herb-infused extra virgin olive oil and cassis balsamic vinegar, a timely birthday gift from our good friends the Marcuses. (Merci!) Perhaps tonight’s salad was also especially tasty because I didn’t have to make it. How old do you think Sam has to be before she can use the stove?
