Sam’s Travel List

The other day Sam started writing a list of places she wants to travel to. I’m not sure what prompted this activity. The first few entries have her creative, phonetic spelling (like “Ejipt”) but then somewhere along the way she figured out that she could copy country names from the map on her wall. This afternoon she thrust the list in front of me and said, “You’ll never guess where I want to go next!”

Luckily she’d copied the last name from the map so I didn’t have to guess or decipher it: Kazakhstan.

“That’s where Cerys was born!”

She still very much misses her Kazakh-Brit partner in crime.

Now why she wants to go to some of these other places–Libya, Iran, Canada– (!) I’m really not sure… 😉
