3 April 2011 Garden Plot

It took us all day to get this far in preparing our modest garden. “Treasure” uncovered as we dug in the dirt: earthworms, beetles, inch worms, rocks, a bungee cord, a ball, and a toy car. The last was a terrific motivator for my gardening partner, who would still be out there now digging, digging, digging, so convinced is she that where there is one toy car, there must be legions.
