17 April 2010 Happy Birthday, AC!

AC sails into his birthday at the Brighton Marina. He is spending this weekend taking the level one Dingy RYA (Royal Yachting Association) course through Hove Lagoon Sports. Sam and I met him for lunch at the Marina and then watched him and the instructor and one other student motor their way out of the busy marina into the sea. In the photo AC is manning the motor. He was telling me this evening that if he stays on this course of training, he can eventually sail a boat to France! That might be handy, as the volcanic ash cloud continues to ground all flights over the UK.
