Sam makes banana dippers

Sam’s North Carolinian grandparents gave her a subscription to Highlights High Five magazine for Christmas. Sam loves these magazines. Each issue includes a kid-friendly recipe. Today she wanted to make the February “banana dippers” recipe. The recipe calls for peanut butter but we substituted sunflower seed butter.

Mix sunflower seed butter with a little bit of honey in a bowl. Put some raisins in another bowl. Peel a slice a banana. Dip the banana slices first in the butter & honey mixture, then dip in the raisins. Voilà!

Sam did this almost entirely by herself (whoohoo) and ate the whole thing.
