Back in Brighton, Baby

After about a 4 month hiatus I am back to blogging and back in Brighton! Yes, we 3 arrived in the U.K. just this morning. Here’s the quick update before I go collapse into bed:

AC has another work assignment here–this time for 4 weeks. We’re staying in the same building as before, but in a different flat. This time we have a view of the sea, AND of rooftop pigeons and gulls.

We flew here non-stop from Las Vegas. 10 hour flight. Sam slept for about 4.5 hours. AC dozed for 2, maybe. Yours truly slept a grand total of zero hours and read one book. The U.K. is all seeming a bit surreal at the moment, like I’m actually watching a home movie of our time here in 08 but the signal is all scrambled and it’s mixed in with old BBC “Top Gear” episodes. And the light’s all wrong b/c blimey it’s after 7PM and the sun hasn’t even started to set!

Ok, signing off for now. I’ll try for a non-sleep deprived post tomorrow. Or is that later today? I have no idea what day it is.
