    One of Sam’s science experiments from the Ponds and Rivers class she did last fall has been sitting in our back yard. Naturally, it froze a few days ago, and then the ice burst the glass jar. A useful lesson in the dangers of freezing temperatures. Sadly, I know far too many people who have had to deal with pipes
