Sam passed the swim test at the pool today and received her orange band. Now she’s cleared to swim in deep water!

An experiment yielded a tasty result this evening. This is one of last year’s jalapeño plants that Sam and I grew from seed. We kept it alive indoors all winter and then brought it outside in the spring. I had no idea if it would continue to bear fruit, but lo and behold, it has.
